Spring/Summer/FallActivities:
  • Experience a calf or foal being born.
  • Brand calves before they are taken to summer range.
  • Trail cattle to and from summer range.
  • Check cattle daily and doctor when necessary.
  • Ride the meadows at the home place to check a herd of Pureblood Saler Cattle.
  • Help with the daily chores at the barn.
  • Learn the technique of roping.

  • Enjoy an afternoon fishing at the private "Fishing Hole" or the nearby reservoir.
  • Fly fishing in a trophy lake (24 Mile Reservoir).
  • Biking along country roads.
  • Hiking in the mountains.
